1939 Dodge Business coupe. This rare car can be easily fixed and brought back to road or is an excellent and solid candidate for total restoration. It has its original "Flathead" 6 cyl engine and 3 speed manual transmission.

1939 Dodge Business coupe. This rare car can be easily fixed and brought back to road or is an excellent and solid candidate for total restoration. It has its original “Flathead” 6 cyl engine and 3 speed manual transmission.
Exterior: The main advantage of this car is the solid bodywork, which is in amazing condition considering the age of the vehicle. The bottom of the car has only slight surface rust and patina here and there. Another good news is that the exterior chrome parts are all there and they are in very good condition as well. The paint is very good too. The chrome bumpers are solid and in good condition, but need to be rechromed if the car has to be fully restored.
Interior: The upholstery of the seats is in great condition. The dashboard is in good shape, but needs some attention. It’s chrome is in excellent condition considering the age of the vehicle. All gauges are present, but they need to be restored. The floor mats and door panels are in great condition, as well as the headliner. The steering wheel has cracks, but is well preserved considering its age. All rubber seals need to be replaced. The trunk compartment is solid and looks very well.
Mechanical: The original 218 CID 6 cylinder “Flathead” engine runs, but needs rebuild. It has new carburetor, spark plugs and spark plug cables. The three speed manual transmission works as should, but needs to be serviced.
The suspension and brake system work, but need a full service in order the car to be roadworthy and safe.
The COKER CLASSIC tires are brand new!
The coolant system needs to be serviced.
